The book is filled with rich historical facts starting with the bloody struggles between the Unionists and the Republicans in northern Ireland and culminating in the disarmament of the IRA. While much of the world has viewed the IRA as the sole instigator of years of vicious terrorism, Llywelyn proves through numerous historical facts that the British government along with the Unionists in the north were equally guilty of constant and numerous crimes. Unfortunately the prolonged bickering of the main fictional married couple of the book leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and takes away 2 stars from what should be a 4-star book.
